Perhaps this may be a belated news for those Gmail and Firefox addicts. But yet , with the intention that a new facility at Gmail must be known to all, I go in detail . Every body is aware that Gmail, in its pursuit to be more user friendly and Firefox ,in its desire to conquer the surfing world, brings in surprises almost daily making the users smiling with their new intros. Here comes a new add on to Firefox "BCC this for Gmail" which once installed is of great help to those who send emails to many. What purpose this add on serves?
In the developer's own words, know more about it.
"Like sticky notes for email, Bccthis for Gmail allows users to compose private, secure messages to selected recipients in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields of their emails while simultaneously sending a message to a broader group. No plug-in is necessary for recipients to view the private messages.
Email users often address a number of recipients in a single email and some of these recipients may have a different relationship to the sender and the information that’s being sent. Until now, email users were unable to provide additional context to those recipients. Bccthis for Gmail enables users to safely convey additional information to just a selection of recipients.
Once the free add-on is installed, users can immediately choose to add Bccthis messages directly from Gmail. A separate composition area allows you to compose a second, private message in addition to the primary email message. Users can then select which of their recipients receive the private message.
Versions of Bccthis also exist for Microsoft Outlook, BlackBerry and Twitter at http://www.bccthis.com
